Viore PLC7V96 - 7 LCD TV - portable
This little TV was better than I expected. I had just bot the comparable Haier HLT71 7-inch and liked it alot but it took a little too much power (18 amps to run) and when in my car, I coudn't charge it very long with an auxiliary 12-volt battery I had. So I got this Voire, with draws less than 14 amps. It pulls in more stations with a smaller 3-inch antennae, and the picture is just as good, and it's a little less expensive. It has every feature the Haier had, plus a couple more. Except, and this is the only negative thing I can say about this one, is that it doesn't have a '-' (dash) on the remote like the Haier did, so if you wan't to key in a station, you can't do it if the station has a dash ('-') in it, because almost all digital stations now-a-days have a dash in them (e.g. 41-1). So to change channels you have to keep going up to the one you want, or keep going down. Not a big deal. But also, and therefore, you can't use the "last" key function very effectively to switch to the last station you had - it will only go the last station that was just one higher, or to the last station that was just one lower. Other than that, this is one beautiful unit, and a keeper.
